Four designs for sock dolls each doll about 15″ high. The Sock doll Clown has embroidery wool for pompons. The sock doll Ballet Dancer comes with a blouse, panties, skirt, overblouse, sash and ankle bows. Sock doll girl has an apron, panties, petticoat, blouse and skirt. Sock doll Sailor has trousers, hat and jacket.
Pattern includes transfer and stitches details for hand embroidery faces, printed tissue cutting patterns and diagrams plus directions. Soft amusing toys for the kiddies!

MATERIAL REQUIRED
No. 1502. This Pattern Contains 1 Transfer Piece, 1 Tissue Sheet and a Leaflet.
One pair of Daddy’s white lisle socks (may be tinted pink) size 12, will make the bodies of two dolls. The wigs are made of wool. Faces hand-embroidered with six-strand cotton. Clothes may be made from scrap basket pieces.
Views A, B, C or D (Doll Bodies)
One pair of men’s white cotton lisle socks, size 12 (about 15 inches long, from heel to top) will make two dolls. White socks may be tinted pink. Use six-strand cotton to hand-embroider the faces. For the wigs, use knitting worsted, about 1/3 ounce for Views A, B or D and 2/3 ounce for View C. Each doll requires about 6 ounces of cotton batting for stuffing. If desired, the floss may be used for stuffing.
View A (Clown)
The costume requires 1/4 yards each of yellow and green 31″ or 39″ silk or cotton material; 2 yards of bias binding tape or 1/2″ wide ribbons for binding and 1 skein of embroidery wool for pompons.
View B (Ballet Dancer)
Blouse and Panties 3/8 yard of 24″ or 39″ pink silk material.
Shirt and Overblouse 3/4 yard of 36″ net or 1/2 yard of 72″ maline.
Sash-3/8 yard of tinsel ribbon, 1-1/2″ wide.
Trimming-2-1/2 yards of 1/4″ wide tinsel ribbon.
Ankle Bows-5/8 yard of 1/4″ wide ribbon.
View C (Girl)
Apron, Panties and Petticoat – 1/4 yard of 31″ white lawn and 1 yard of 1/4″ wide lace edging.
Blouse-One piece of checked gingham, 10″ x 11″
Skirt– 1/8 yard of red gingham; 2 yards of white bias fold tape for binding and 1-1/4 yards of 1/4″ wide red ribbons for hair and ankle ties.
View D (Sailor)
Trousers and Hat–1/4 yard of 35″ blue gingham.
Jacket-One piece of checked gingham 12″ x 13″: 2 yards of white bias fold tape for binding.
